Gaylene Burton

Stage, Jazz & Tap 

Gaylene takes enormous joy in sharing her love of dance through teaching, choreographing, and inspiring young dancers to believe in themselves. 

Originally from Manitoba, Gaylene started dancing as a young child and has continued in the performing arts community her whole adult life.  

She relocated to Vancouver to study dance and acting over 20 years ago, and is CDTA certified in tap and stage in addition to her decades of experience in jazz and ballet.  

Gaylene has earned numerous choreography awards over the years, and has many Industrial credits to her name, including principal dancer work in the tv pilot “A screwball homicide”and principal dancer in the feature film, “life or something like it”.

You can see her often in tv commercials, including recent Nintendo, Advil, and Berh paint ads.  

Gaylene continues to share her positive enthusiasm and joy with her students to spark the same love of dance and sense of community that she is has been so grateful to experience.
