Aside from the many dance opportunities Morgan has been involved in, she was asked to be a part of the 2005 Canadian National Tap Team which competed at the World Tap Championships in Reisa, Germany. Morgan was extremely successful in her endeavours at the competition in both the Women’s solo tap category and the group category.
Morgan’s love for ballet was always strong, even as she developed as a dancer who excelled in several other forms. After a successful adolescent career, and having completed her RAD graded and vocational examinations, Morgan’s post-secondary experiences brought her opportunities to work with some very credited teachers across Canada and the United States. Morgan decided to take the leap and become a certified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. With an extensive knowledge in the pre-primary to Advanced level syllabi, Morgan is a part of an amazing team of teachers who have had many successes with students’ examination work. For the past 20 years, her passion for teaching classical ballet and other forms of dance has paved her way to success as a dance educator and has helped her to build relationships with her students. Many of these students were able to earn scholarships, bursaries, and professional achievements with Morgan’s assistance.
In recent years Morgan has been honoured to be apart of Ballet Victoria’s performance of The Nutcracker. Along with a few other teachers, Morgan has set this beautiful ballet on many dancers whom perform it for sold out audiences.
Morgan always aspires to influence her students as her teachers did her and she is loves being a part of the ballet program at PPSDance.
