Peggy Peat Dancer, Summer Gillespie, dancing her way onto a screen near you!

This is PPSD alumni Summer Lynn Gillespie! Since Summer graduated in June of 2021 she has been training with Harbour Dance Centre’s ITP and has joined the cast of “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies,” a 10 episode musical tv series and prequel to the original 1978 movie musical “Grease” starring Olivia Newton John and John Travolta. You can look out for this new series on Paramount+ streaming service this coming September. She has also worked as a dancer on both “Riverdale” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas”

Congratulations to PPSD dancer, Natasha Dawson, for winning Senior Stage (Dance) at BC Festival of Arts Provincials. Also, congratulations to PPSD dancer, Sydney Gray, for winning Runner-Up Senior Stage (Dance) at the BC Festival of Arts Provincials.

Congratulations to PPSD 2021 Graduate, Natalie Coates-Wiens! Natalie will be attending the Queens University of Charlotte in the Knight School of Communications program. She is planning on obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Communication in the 4 year program. Natalie was awarded an academic and dance scholarship, she is the only Canadian on the dance team! She submitted dance videos to obtain her scholarship since no in person auditions took place last year due to Covid.
We are so proud of you Natalie! Good luck!
Disney Magic at Sea!

PPSD Graduate, Julia White, is currently working aboard the Disney Magic, dancing and performing with some of her favourite Disney Characters. She is sailing in the UK all Summer for Disney Magic at Sea staycation cruises. This is Julia's fourth Disney contract and she says it's been another dream come true! We are so proud of you Julia!

PPSD Graduate, Spencer Taylor, will be heading out on Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas this September. He will be performing in Royals new show “Show Girl”. Spencer will be sailing 9 months in Asia out of his home port of Hong Kong. Congratulations Spencer!

Every year PPSD performs at the beautiful Kitsilano Showboat at Kits Beach! This beautiful ocean backdrop stage is such a fun opportunity for our dancers. Then after the show the dancers brave the chilly ocean and do the dock jump! Well done dancers! See you next year Kitsilano Showboat!

We are so proud of our 7 PPSD Grads of 2019! Many of these dancers started their first dance class at PPSD when they were 3 years old. We've watched them grow from excited little girls for their first dance class to amazing, talented young women. We couldn't be more proud of them. Congratulations PPSD Grad class of 2019!!
PPSD Dancer Bella Olson-Brooks is the BC Festival of Arts Provincial Champion!

PPSD Senior Dancer Bella Olson-Brooks has just taken home the prize of BC Festival of Arts Provincial Champion. Bella won the Senior Stage Representative from Surrey Festival of Arts and headed to Chilliwack to compete at the Provincials. She received Overall Senior Stage Winner! We are so proud of you Bella!!
